The short version
This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels.
We keep a little information in your browser so that your learning progress, in-progress tests and saved details work, and Stripe sets strictly necessary cookies for payment and fraud prevention during checkout.
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) allow storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for, without consent. Everything on this page falls within that, so we do not show a cookie banner.
What we store in your browser
Local storage stays on your device until you clear it:
- fhh-store-v2: the lessons you have completed, your passed assessments, links to your recent orders, and the name and email address you entered, so that checkout can fill them in
Session storage is cleared when you close the tab:
- assessment:v1: the test you are sitting, so that a reload does not lose your place
- checkout:v1: the payment you are making, so that a reload does not start a second order
This information stays in your browser. It only reaches us when you do something that needs it, such as submitting an assessment or going to checkout.
Cookies set by Stripe during checkout
Stripe uses cookies on our payment page to process your payment securely and to detect fraud. They include:
- __stripe_mid: lasts 1 year, used for fraud prevention
- __stripe_sid: lasts 30 minutes, used for fraud prevention
The exact cookies can vary, and Stripe explains them in its cookie policy.
Other services
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set a strictly necessary security cookie such as __cf_bm if it needs to check for automated traffic.
How to control this
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you clear site data, your progress on that device is lost and you may need to retake an assessment before buying. Blocking Stripe's cookies may stop you from paying.
Certificates you have already bought are safe. You can get them back any time from find my certificate.

If we ever want to add analytics, advertising or anything else that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
